^^^ This foundation is amazing. I got a sample, it fulfilled all my wildest foundation-related dreams, so I used a Christmas gift voucher to splurge on the real deal. This stuff blends in like a second skin, and stays. all. day. Mind blown. ^^^
^^^ I now have three of these Sportsgirl skirts in different colours (random sidenote: they are all different sizes. When something's on sale, you don't get picky). They are thick and sturdy and stand up on their own, which means they cover all
^^^ I went all house-DIY-crazy last weekend. Part 1: I finally put up a gallery wall in the living room like I've been meaning to do since we moved in, two years ago.^^^
^^^ Part 2: On our Italy trip last year, Mitch plotted out where we walked in each city on our maps. I finally got around to framing the maps, which now make a pretty great decorative souvenir.^^^
^^^ Mum made me these quilt squares for my birthday. You can rotate them around so that the opposite corners match up and they make a different pattern - super clever! ^^^
^^^ Mitch and I managed to get some awesome deals on two swanky hotels (one night is completely free!) on Sydney Harbour, so tomorrow we're heading up for a weekend mini-break. Normally I don't like packing, but it's much easier when you know what the weather's going to be like (hot).
^^^ There was a super-duper heat wave on Tuesday. It topped about 43*C around here and it felt like walking through an oven. The good thing about this was that by the time Mitch got home from work that evening it was perfect beach weather. So we took ourselves and our esky full of watermelon down to the beach and made the most of the crazy weather. ^^^

Those framed maps are so great! I have been trying to source a giant world map for years with plans of marking out the places I've been to etc etc...but now I'm thinking something like that is the perfect way to make some little memoirs without spending a fortune!
