Recently: via my iphone

 ^^^ Thursday started in the library, trying to get work done on an assignment due next week...^^^
 ^^^...and ended at the outdoor cinema in the botanic gardens. FYI The Intouchables is an awesome movie that you should all go see right now ^^^
 ^^^ Friday was an eye-ball-drying, cheek-pinking, skin-burning scorcher - getting to 43*C around here ^^^
 ^^^ Such extreme weather called for cold watermelon and Weis bars ^^^
 ^^^ Saturday involved making fresh bread /// Best served with dukkah and dipping oil/vinegar ^^^
 ^^^ We also gave Mitch's pasta maker a try /// Turns out it was well worth the effort ^^^

 ^^^ Thursday through Sunday involved house-decorating {more will be revealed later ;) } ^^^

^^^ On Sunday Mitch found his dream car at a vintage car show... /// ...and I picked up a 9k white gold ring for $25 at a flea market ^^^

^^^ Then {at another market} I found  a mango the size of my head, and the weekend was done ^^^

{All good weekends should end with oversized fruit. How did your weekend go?}

PS Linking up with Still Being Molly today!

  1. That mango looks so good! They seem to be getting really expensive again which makes me sad as it probably means they are going back out of season. I have never been to an outdoor cinema, your photos definitely make me want to try it out.

  2. WOW that mango is awesome. And I love that you tackled home-made pasta. I've never tried but everyone talks about how much better it is. Looks like you had an awesome weekend. Because I still have another full day ;) So far it's been good. Low-key, having some lunch with a friend today. :)

  3. Glad you've been having a good weekend Kelly! The relaxed ones are the best. And the pasts was quite fiddly - definitely wouldn't do it every night! - but worth it for a treat :)

  4. Thanks Megan! Yes it's making me sad that they're getting expensive again, although this mango was a bargain at the markets - $3! And I think the Sunset Cinema that we went to is also in Canberra? Worth checking out :)
